Meet Me @ M HKA

With Meet Me @ M HKA, Muhka offers a visitor programme for people in the early stages of dementia and their carers. We are the first museum in Belgium to organise guided tours for people in the early stages of dementia. Although more and more people are affected by dementia, either personally or through someone close to them, opportunities for people with dementia to take part in meaningful activities remain limited. Rather than focusing on limitations, Meet Me @ M HKA draws attention to the rich emotional and intellectual experiences that a museum visit can evoke.

Dutch for non-native speakers

Your support enables Muhka to develop educational projects. For example, Muhka welcomes NT2 classes (Dutch as a second language), who visit the museum with a guide or independently and practise their Dutch.

Research

Thanks to your support, Muhka can develop special research projects. Muhka not only connects with artists, but also works with research institutions, primarily the University of Antwerp (Master Film Studies and Visual Culture).
