M HKA’s collection comprises around 5,000 works. Its backbone consists of the museum’s own acquisitions and works acquired by the Flemish Community. The story of the collection begins with the post-war avant-garde in Antwerp and Flanders, and uses this past as a point of departure for understanding today’s and tomorrow’s multipolar world.

De collectie van het Muhka, van start tot stip

Het Muhka werd in 1985 opgericht door de Vlaamse Gemeenschap. Het Muhka bouwt in vele opzichten verder op de culturele erfenis van het Internationaal Cultureel Centrum (ICC).
