Introduction to Art

During this interactive guided tour, primary school pupils are introduced to contemporary art. Together with a guide, they look closely at artworks, exchange impressions and make connections with their own everyday world. Through questions, stories, drama, music or images, they are invited to share their opinions, express their feelings and use their imagination. In this way, they learn to look and interpret at a child-friendly level.

We start from the pupils’ own everyday world and connect with the learning objectives for world orientation. The guided tour encourages them to look closely, put into words what they see and create meaning together.

For pupils in special education and pupils with specific needs, there is a tailored guided tour. The guide coordinates with the teacher in advance, so that every pupil feels comfortable during the visit.
