The first institutional solo exhibition of Özgür Kar in Belgium, MALAISE, was on view as a site-specific installation. The presentation included theatrical sound and a video installation that explored themes of collective unease, stagnation, and endurance.

In the summer of 2025 Muhka presented a selection of 20 billboard posters by international artists in its INBOX space (5th floor). The posters came from the second edition of the Onboards Biennale, which in summer 2023 transformed Antwerp’s urban landscape with 2 × 100 artworks displayed across the city.

In 2024, Antwerp Art once again awarded the Graduation Prize to two young artists from KASKA and SLA. The prize supports emerging artists with a cash award and an exhibition during Antwerp Art Weekend. The works of Julia Tröscher, Juli Bierich, and Emma Mann were on view at Muhka during Antwerp Art Weekend 2025.

In 2024, Sean Peleman won the Hugo Roelandt Prize with his graduation project in the programme Graphic Art and Drawing at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. The Muhka invited him to make a presentation for INBOX during the exhibition Hugo Roelandt – The End is a New Beginning. (spring 2025)

The End is a New Beginning was Hugo Roelandt’s first museum overview exhibition, marking ten years since his passing.

The archive presentation at M HKA offered, for the first time, an overview of Today's Place's most significant projects—videos of performances and photos of exhibitions—complemented by historical printed matter, magazines, and posters.

With Out, Bruno Zhu transformed a museum gallery into an impressive labyrinth of rotating walls, inviting visitors to shift boundaries and look anew.

Leo Reijnders moves effortlessly between disciplines, roles, and worlds – an exhibition as layered as his drawings and performances.

Showing Off is an annual art project in which the children and young people of the Hospital School are introduced to modern art and create their own artworks. Each year, the project concludes with an exhibition at Muhka – this year marks the tenth edition, in collaboration with De Leerexpert Ziekenhuisschool.

King of Klowns, Nástio Mosquito’s first major solo exhibition at Muhka took us on a journey of invention, in which we were confronted by personalities demanding that we learn to navigate a complex world.

The exhibition In/sight offered a kaleidoscopic view of the dynamic Antwerp art scene. Featuring works by established names and emerging talent from the City Collection Antwerp, the presentation celebrated the unique character of the city as a hub for contemporary art.
