Double Focus — Continuing Professional Development for Teachers

Double focus encourages participants to look at art with fresh eyes and focuses both on looking for oneself and on guiding children or young people in their experience of art. During this active training session, you will gain new impulses for your own teaching practice and a pedagogical-didactic framework to get started in an art museum yourself. Contemporary art connects closely with the world of children and young people through its contemporary stories, images and forms. In addition, engaging with art encourages teachers too to reflect in a nuanced way on their own experiences and teaching practice.

Practical information

An intensive workshop full of practice, reflection and inspiration. Over half a day, you will learn to look, guide and teach with art as your point of departure.
