Walk through The Ties That Bind in company of artist Dennis Tyfus. It is also the last weekend of the exhibition and a great opportunity to discover Shaw's work through the subversive lens of Tyfus, who, like Shaw, speaks out against existing political, or (anti-)social, value structures. And does so in often humorous ways.

Walk through The Ties That Bind in company of artist Aline Bouvy. True to the commitments of her practice, the artist will invite us to look at Jim Shaw’s exhibition from the perspective of diverse forms of cultural practices, feminism and the formation of social norms.

This event is organised within the framework of FRONT ROW, a new monthly series of artist's talks jointly organised by M HKA and NICC. On Saturday, February 10th, at 19:00 hrs, internationally renowned artist Jim Shaw will be at The Cinema for a conversation with curator Anne-Claire Schmitz. They will discuss his work and his new solo exhibition, The Ties That Bind.

Thursday night 8 February, M HKA will open its doors free to the public, to celebrate a new season of exhibitions together, in the presence of the artists.

Mash Up - works from 1999 to 2022 is the first comprehensive monographic publication dedicated to the work of London based artist Anthea Hamilton. The book is co-published by M HKA and Triangle Books and follows the artist eponymous survey exhibition held at M HKA in 2022.

Throughout the whole year, M HKA offers yoga sessions every first Sunday of the month.
